What is Ideogram 4.5?

Ideogram 4.5 is Ideogram’s image generation and editing model. This generator is independently operated by Cicadas and runs the model through fal.ai. Scene 01

Scene 03

Poster line changed to Saturday 7 pm

Requested: Change the date line to “Every Saturday 7 pm” while preserving the design. Observed: The wording changed in the same lettering; the title and illustration look similar. Limitation: The result is not pixel-identical. Our JPEG comparison measured an average difference of 3.25 out of 255; inspect the editing guide for the method and limits.

Prompt

Change the smaller line to read "Every Saturday 7 pm". Keep the title, the lettering style, the illustration, the colours and the paper grain exactly as they are.

The same three ceramic cups on the linen cloth at night, lit by a single candle on the windowsill at the right, with a dark window behind.Source image before the edit

Scene 04

The three cups by candlelight

Requested: Change daylight to candlelight while keeping the cups unchanged. Observed: Cup shapes and positions stayed similar; the window went dark and a candle lights the scene from the right. Limitation: Every colour shifted, including cream and sage, and an unrequested dish appeared under the candle.

Prompt

Make it night. The window behind the cups is dark, and a single candle on the right lights them. Keep the three cups, their colours and their positions exactly as they are.

Start with the job you have

Make a poster or label. Put your exact headline and smaller lines in quotation marks. See what came back in our text-in-images examples, including two lines the model added without being asked.

Change an existing picture. Upload one image and describe the change. Our editing guide shows a rewritten date line and a lighting edit that also changed colours.

Find a prompt to start from. The prompt guide pairs seven prompts with their actual results. Use one in the generator, then replace the subject or wording with your own.

From your brief to a downloadable image

  1. Write a prompt, or upload a picture to edit

Put any words that must appear in the image in quotation marks. To edit, upload one JPG, PNG or WebP picture, up to 10 MB.

  2. Check the quote

Choose low, medium or high quality and 1 to 4 outputs. One medium image is 15 credits; four are 60. The exact credit cost is shown before submission.

  3. Inspect the result

Check spelling, extra text and the parts you wanted to keep. A successfully delivered image is charged even if you dislike it. Failed or incomplete requests return the whole credit charge.

  4. Download and keep a copy

Each output has its own download and is kept in your private My images library. To make another edit, upload the downloaded result with your next instruction.

Know what you are buying

A single-model generator with visible costs and recorded examples.

  • The price before you pay it

The generator shows the credit cost of your exact settings before you generate: the price of one image times the number you ask for.

  • All the images you asked for, or your credits back

If a request fails, or returns fewer images than you asked for, nothing is kept and the whole charge comes back on its own. An image that came out but that you do not like is still charged.

  • Your images stay private

Results are private to your account. They are kept in My images, and you download each one.

  • What is not offered here

Masks, reference pictures, the high-precision edit setting, the very low quality level, custom sizes and an API. Edits that swap a face, undress a person or remove a watermark or logo are not offered either.

07

What an image costs here

Low is 8 credits, medium 15 and high 55, per image for generation or editing. With the $15 pack of 1,500 credits, that is equivalent to $0.08, $0.15 or $0.55 per image; you buy the whole pack first. Monthly plans start at $9.90. See plans, expiry and refunds.

Common questions

Is Ideogram 4.5 free to use here?

No free generation credits are offered here. You can inspect the samples and copy their prompts without paying. To generate, buy a monthly plan from $9.90 or a one-time pack from $15. A medium image is 15 credits, equivalent to $0.15 with that pack.

How much does an Ideogram 4.5 image cost?

Here: 8, 15 or 55 credits at low, medium or high quality. At the API the list price is $0.03, $0.06 and $0.22 an image. The full breakdown is on the Ideogram 4.5 pricing page.

Can Ideogram 4.5 put readable text in an image?

In our runs, yes. A poster title, “NIGHT MARKET”, a line “Every Friday 6 pm” and a tin label, “JASMINE GREEN” and “Loose leaf · 100 g”, all came out spelled right. The poster also carried two lines we had not asked for. See Ideogram 4.5 text in images.

How well does Ideogram 4.5 edit a picture?

In one poster edit, the requested line changed to “Every Saturday 7 pm” and the title and illustration looked similar. A lighting edit kept the cups in place but changed their colours and added a dish. Two runs do not establish a success rate or multi-turn reliability. Inspect both in the editing guide.

Who makes Ideogram 4.5?

Ideogram. Its model page describes the model; this independent site calls it through fal.ai.

Is this the official Ideogram 4.5 site?

No. Ideogram45 is an independent web generator and is not affiliated with Ideogram.

What size are the images?

Our samples measured 1,024 × 1,024, 1,280 × 720, 1,152 × 864, 864 × 1,152 and 720 × 1,280 pixels. Low, medium and high are quality settings, not fixed resolution labels. Edits follow the source geometry, which the provider may downscale.

What happens when a generation fails?

The credits come back to your balance automatically. That includes prompts that the provider’s safety filter refuses, and requests that return fewer images than you asked for. An image that came out but that you do not like is still charged.
